At the Corps of Engineers Council Grove Lake, there are lots of camping spots for RVs. This is a very pretty location. You would be about 23 miles from the Symphony site at this location. Check the Council Grove Chamber of Commerce website for all the historical places to see while you’re there.

At El Dorado Lake you would have lots of camping spots for RVs. At this location you would be about 86 miles from the Symphony site. Contact the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce for more information about their community events.

On the west edge of Emporia there is a privately owned RV park. The phone is 620-343-3422. Check the Emporia Chamber of Commerce for all the interesting places to visit in Emporia, including the many tour sites of “The Sage,” William Allen White, famous journalist and Pulitzer Prize Winner.
