Afternoon schedule at the site:

12 Noon

Parking lot opens.

1 p.m.

Ticket gate opens. Walk the wild flower trail (approx 2/3 mile - no elevation change) or hitch a ride to the concert site in an open wagon. Come early to save a good spot to enjoy the concert. Chairs available ($2 rental) at the concert site – lighten your load!

2 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Prairie Education Activities at the concert site.
Horse Drawn Covered Wagon rides out on the prairie (included in the price of ticket).

2 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Food and beverages served.

3 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Musical instrument “petting zoo” with Kansas City Symphony auxiliary.

5:30 p.m.

Pre-concert transportation leaves from the Wait and Ride Tent for the concert site.

6:30 p.m.

Concert begins (90 minute performance plus 20-minute intermission).

8:55 p.m.

Sunset

9 p.m.

Tents, walking trails and parking area will be fully illuminated as darkness falls.

9:15 p.m. – till ?

Old time acoustic music and dancing in the big tent. Twilight horse-drawn wagon rides and prairie strolls.
