Symphony in the Flint Hills, Inc. is a designated a 50lc(3) non-profit organization under the Internal Revenue Service regulations.
Ticket sales to our Third Annual Concert, which will be held on June 14, 2008, will cover approximately 36% of the event’s overall costs. Dozens of volunteers, including our 11 member Board of Directors, work tirelessly planning this series of concerts. The paid staff includes: Event Coordinator, Emily Hunter; Office Manager, Kelly Tastove and Bookkeeper, Rita Spinden.
Any proceeds exceeding the expenses of the Third Annual Concert will be used by Symphony in the Flint Hills, Inc. as “seed” money for the Fourth Annual Concert expected to be held in June 2009.
