Petting Zoo
Flint Hills Music will offer an instrument “petting zoo” at the Symphony in the Flint Hills concert.
The Petting Zoo is a unique opportunity for children and adults of all ages to learn about the four families of instruments within the orchestra and how they make sounds.
Including a good representation of all of the instruments in the orchestra, the petting zoo provides the chance to experience the instruments in a hands-on interactive way.
Flint Hills Music staff members and volunteers will be on hand to demonstrate how to hold and play each of the instruments.
